On tap. Poured black with a large brown head that lasted throughout the beer and laced nicely. Aroma had a strong roasted malt note with some coffee and a bit of dark chocolate as well as a dryness. Flavor was similar with strong roasted malts throughout, some coffee, a slight bitter hop note and quite a dry finish.

A deep dark stout with a thin dark brown head. A superb dark coffee aroma, with bitter chocolate notes, light fruityness, some chalky notes. In mouth, a good intense coffee, light alcohol warmth, hops points, some licorice and light menthol. Rich and smooth. On tap at brewery, Dec. 4 2010.
