Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is toasted, wooden and some mild herbal tones. Flavour is floral, some toasted malts, mild ashes as well as some mild not-too-sweet toffeeish tones.

relatively mild aroma, aroma notes are apples, chocolate, cola nuts, so faint, could be a vienna from the aroma. not very porterish if you ask me. Flavor is more intense than aroma. roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, does not taste like a vienna, fortunately. easy drinking and quite well balanced porter. nice bitterness from coffe i think. I wonder what happened with the aroma. Flavor is fine.

Bottle 70 cl. Pours an opaque brown with a beige head. Interesting spicy, hoppy aroma. Surprisingly light almost watery body. Little roastiness but some English licorice. And that’s about it, no further layers or complexity, it’s all very plain, but highly drinkable. 200821
