Nine to Five Wizard majors in the classic German Weissbier aromas of banana and clove, layered with New World hop notes of orange, mango, pine and grapefruit. The combination of the Magnum, Cascade, Mandarina Bavaria and Ariana hops give a rising and refreshing citrus complement to the smooth mouthfeel from the wheat and the fruity esters of the Bavarian yeast.

A delicious weizenbock, intense aroma of banana and plum, wheat, creamy, touch of hopat the final, but it is not that stong, 12.03.18, at Paris.

Can from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is yeasty and phenolic with banana, clove, wheaty malt, a bit candied, bread, some alcohol, and a hint of fruity hops. Flavour is fairly sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Body is medium. I expected a little more from the hops, but as you settle into the beer you do get a little of those hoppy nuances. Decent.

Typisches Weizen im Glas, in der Nase leicht Banane, stärker davon im Trunk. Leichte Honignoten, süffig, hohe Drinkability. Den Alkohol merkt man nicht.

Keg at the Taproom, Phloen Chit, Bangkok. Poured a hazy copper colour with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is yeast, banana, some light citrus notes. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, crisp, fresh, yeasty light banana, light clove spice palate. Medium to light bodied with average to soft carbonation. Drinkable but very dry and yeasty and not with the yeasty flavours that I particularly like.
