Bottled. Amber colour with a mediumsized creamy slightly off-white head. Aroma is fruity, sweet malts, some grass and mild herbs. Flavour is floral and fruity bitterness along with some bready and grainy notes. The bitterness gets a bit harsh, otherwise quite ok brew.

On tap at Flakhaven. Cloudy dark golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of toffee and pine. Sweet malty flavour with a touch of pine and heavy, undrinkable bitterness.

Flaske 330ml spandert av djoeye. Delt med ham og Rune i H7 19 Feb 18. Mørk amber. Lavt tett skum med litt farge. Aroma av bær. Smaken syrlige bær & krydder. Veldig tørr ettersmak. Balansert & moreish.

330ml bottle provided and shared by djoeye. Hazy amber-orange in body appearance. Covering white head, clingy lacing. Malt-fruity aroma, apricot and caramel, promising. Fine blended taste of citrus, caramel and pine needles. Dry bitter tail. Fine depth. Drinks very well. Pleased with this one. (Rating session with Finn and djoeye, PivotekaH7, Tromsø 19.02.2018).

Draft @ Ølfestival 2016. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty citrus hoppy piney aroma. Slightly roasted malty piney hoppy bitter caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter caramel finish.

Bottle, 5.6%, definitely not a black IPA. Pours clear amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of fruit and malt, with notes of hops and grassy touches. Bitter flavour of hops and grass, with malty and estery notes. Hints of fruit. Bitter aftertaste, the IBU killing all the other nuances there. Well, presumably well done but does the IBU have to be so high? Ultimately, the beer does not even taste much of an IPA.

Bottle, 5.6%, not a black IPA. Clear amber, huge airy offwhite froth. Weak caramely aroma. Sweet, caramely flavour with light orangy bitterness. IPA? Maybe. ’Crazy IPA 120 IBU’ as it says on the label? Never... Still almost one year until BBD, can’t imagine what this would be like 10 months from now. Not gonna miss Coisbo...

Bottle 33 cl. 5.6% according to the bottle - and certainly not a Black IPA. Pours amber with a slight haze and a lacing off-white head. Aroma of old stale hops, extremely off. Body is medium, caramellish, oddly chemical with a very, very unpleasant tang. It’s skunky, full of cabbage. Very raw and unrefined late bitterness. BB280218 Coisbo seems to be deteriorating even faster than anybody had expected. 030417

Draft. A brown beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, and roasted malt, leading to a bitter finish.
