Poured into a tall tulip, the appearance was a sly hazy burnt orange color with a slim finger’s worth of white foamy head that quickly dissipated. Sly remnant of lacing stuck to the sides.
The aroma had the chili with the lime then with some sweet honey and then a sly scorched meat (yes, this actually kinda smelled like tacos, lol, okay, is that what the brewer intended, I don’t know, but I like it, haha).
The flavor, once again, yes, tacos, everything tacos, just like in the aroma, but the meaty portion super far underground. Sly dry chili spice to quick sweet fruity aftertaste running on into the same sort of finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation feels super refined (and this is actually a week old, lol), okay, yes, the spice of the chili hits nicely with the vegetal/fruity feel, but I like it.
Overall, yes, I’d probably lean close to the spice/herb/vegetable style, but this is a really nice one if you like tacos. Too bad, I’m having this on a Friday, should have saved this for Taco Tuesday.

Cloudy gold with a big chili lime aroma, medium bodied with a very round carbonation, like drinking a mildly spiced taco.  It’s a deft use of spice and chili.
