On tap @ Rattle N Hum. Really deep and dark this, as good as black in the glass, with a nice lacing medium sized dark brown head. Smells really nice deep dark roasted. Woody vanilla, there's something mildly burnt. A little alcohol dunst and lots of dark chocolate. Smells really good. A ton of flavor. It's near cloying sweet, but the roastiness kinda helps it a bit. Thick velvety in the mouth and just below average on the prickling carbonation bubbles. A ton of flavor here. Woody vanilla, burnt rye bread, thick dark chocolate and ice cream. Really good stuff. 11.06.2015

Sample at Bier Markt for the CBW Collaboration Kickoff on 10/09/2015. Jet black pour with a medium tan head that diminishes gradually. Patchy lacing. Aroma of whiskey, malt and dark chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of rye whiskey, oak, anise and chocolate malt. The finish is oaky vanilla and whiskey. Good beer all around.
