A big, bad, Belgian brown aged over 12 months in a Charbay brandy barrel. Brewed with a trifecta of sugars, including a housemade candi syrup. Wild and untamed, this brew starts out sweet and finishes with notes a clove and nutmeg.

On tap @ Rattle N Hum. This is a near black looking one, a small bubbly off-white filmy head on the top. The aroma is filled with dark licorice, sweet blue plums and sweet sugary raisins. Just a lovely aroma. Much the same in the taste: Darkish berries, prunes, vanilla and a warming alco sting. Soft oily in the mouth gently carbonated. Sweet blueberries almost lingering fruit-berry. SWWEETISHANDLOVEL! Perfect as a last of a long day. 17.06.2015

On tap at The Beer Mongers, pours jet black with a medium light brown head. Aroma brings out lots of rich brandy, wood and candied dark fruits. Flavour is intense and decadent, with tons of brandy, dark dried fruits, light wood and brown sugar. Finishes with heaps of candied dark fruits and brandy. Excellent.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark brn with a tan head; dark garnet glints. Aroma is light wood, dark malt, hint of brandy. Strong hit. Full bodied. Flavor is brandy, smooth dark malt, kandi, wood. AND BRANDY! It’s very nice,m and the wood adds an astringency which cuts down the sugariness. It’s really drinkable. No heat!
