Bottle at home. Pours a dark brown to black colour with a light beige head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, oat bicuits, coffee beans and peaches. The flavour has grapefruit and pine mixed with ash and dark chocolate. Has a slick and silky mouth feel, medium body and a solid bitterness. A well balanced BIPA with a nice mix between stout and IPA.

0.33l bottle. This one pours a deeper dark cola brown body with a decent looking medium sized brownish head on the top. Small dots down the glass. It smells quite buttery actually. Not at all what I was expecting. Yeah, lots of butter and some metallic tones in the back. Really mild in all ways actually. It has a sharp unpleasant metallic taste. What is this? Chlorine and popcorn in the taste. It's thin oily in the mouth and it's just below average on the carbonation. This was a pretty horrible one unfortunately. 31.12.2016

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsdalen. Svart. Så vidt gjennomskinnelig brun. Middels høyt lett farget skum som daler sakte. Lett karamellaroma. Smaken skarprøstet malt og mørk frukt. Tørr ettersmak. Avslutter veldig tørt. Antydning til bunnfall.

Taste is dry mineraly, weeds, bark, roasted grain, harsh hops, minerals, pine needles, soap, medicine, moss. Longlasting harsh bitterness, dry medical mouthfeel. Nice aroma...

Bottled@AIH66 Beer Session (from Vinmonopolet, Kirkenes). Brownish amber colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is fruity, nutty, mildly toasted as well as some slight burnt wooden notes. Flavour is toasted, some fruity and mild nutty notes to it. Quite a big bitterness with a slight roasted touch in the finish. Actually quite mellowly balanced. A while after drinking there’s a somewhat ashy aftertaste to it.

Bottled 330ml (Vm Kirkenes)
Dark brown color, medium-sized beige head. Licorice, toasted aroma. Medium-bodied. Toasted malty with licorice then long lingering bitterness. Hoppyness is not so fruity than in this style often but it is quite strong. Ok hop bomb.

Almost complete black color with a fine tan head. Good lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium + body and a smooth carbonation level. Fine balance between sweetness and bitterness. Coffee, roast, toffee, fruity, pine and citric/grapefruit hoppy flavor. Ok lasting flavor.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A two-finger sized fawn-coloured head slowly diminishing while leaving clingy lacing on the glass. Very dark brown body, near clear. Black malty aroma added by molasses and grain. Malt-fruity blended flavours of molasses, liquorice and dark fruits. Roasted bitter endnotes of dark malts and citrus shells. Medium bodied. Nice, rather unvaried though (Tromsø 01.12.2016).
