Can. Pours an unclear orange with a very small off-white head. Aroma of passionfruit, cilantro, limegrass, wheat, yuzu and lactic acid. Flavour of wheat, limegrass, bread, cilantro and grass. Has a slick mouth feel, light to medium body and a light bitterness. Fruity and fresh.

Bottle. A hazy golden colored beer with an off-white head. Quite candy-ish, passionfruit, some grass and pale malts and a touch of spiced yeast notes. It's medium to full bodied, with a nice carbonation level. Passionfruit, generic fruits, some pale malts and spiced notes. Lasting fruity finish. Lacking in depth this one, but is quite nice anyway. 190302

500 ml bottle, batch #141, from Bris Ølutsalg, Jørpeland. ABV is 4.7%. Deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of passionfruit and other tropical fruits, a hint of sea water. Refreshing flavour, moderate acidity, notes of passionfruit, spicy saison yeast, coriander and sea salt.

Big coarse white head quickly subsides. Clear yellow body with light carbonation. Resiny grainy passionfruit aroma with not much else. Dry grainy passionfruit taste. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish grainy passionfruit aftertaste, somewhat salty. It's not a bad beer, but this is very much a one-trick pony. It tastes passionfruit and that's about it. Passionfruit saison would be very like passionfruit pils which again would be very like passionfruit pale ale etc etc. (0.5l bottle from Meny Triaden Lørenskog.)

Draught (backlog). Hazy golden colour with a mediumsized creamy white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is mild floral and fruity notes, with some spicy yeast as well as some bready malts. Flavour is mild tart wood, some herbal and spicy notes along with some mild floral and earthy notes. Long yeasty aftertaste.

0.5l bottle from #033. This pours a blurry or even near clear looking golden colored body with a medium sized whiteish head on the top. It smells dry yeasty, some saison yeast, green small apples. Kinda dusty, some white strawberries and a mild peppery hint. Not directly bad. Tastes slightly sourish and again, it's quite dry in the taste. Minerallic and dusty. It has a thin oily, near watery texture in the mouth and it's quite soft on the carbonation this. Bitter and slightly sourish finish and something that reminds me of saltwater mixed with saison yeast in the aftertaste. Not all bad this, one of the better I've had from the brewer. 27.08.2016
