Bottle. It's an unclear chestnut colored beer with a finger-thick light beige head. The aroma has bready malts, toffee, some roasted malts, a hint of licorice and something spiced, with some dried fruits. It's medium bodied and a bit hard on the carbonation, quite dry, almost with a fruity sourness, and quite low on bitterness. Bread crust, dark dried fruits, toffee, some notes of grass and spices, a hint of something earthy and foresty, as well as a bit odd dustyness. Long bready, roasted finish with dried fruits, caramel and an earthy hint. Pity about the carbonation, it don't do the drinkability any good, else it's sure a decent one at this strenth. 211019

330 ml bottle, from Bunnpris, Odda. ABV is 4.7%. Moderately hazy reddish brown colour, large to moderate off-white head. Nice malty aroma, notes of caramel, brown bread, ripe plums and berries. The flavour has the same elements, but is not as sweet as I expected. The hops are very moderate. Decent enough to drink.

Bottled. Clear copper colour, small head. Fruity caramelly nose. Mid sweet with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and caramelly with mild notes of woody smoke. Very low bitterness.

330ml bottle form Helga. Low off-white head to a clear amber coloured body. Spotty lacing on the glass. Vague aroma of caramel malts, mid-dry. Doughy flavours with distant notes of caramel. Drying end. Foamy in the mouth. Has not got much to offer. Drinkable. (Shared with Finn and djoeye at a rating session, Tromsø 23.03.2017).

0.33l bottle, no batch nr. In the glass this is a near clear really deep reddish amber colored one with a tiny, filmy and quickly sidesticking beige head. It has a strong dark caramelly sweet aroma. Dark nuts, some diacetyl and dark fruits. Yeah, I did not expect that at all. It has much the same going on in the taste also. It's really dark caramel sweetish, nutty earthy almonds and a little bit of darker malts. Unfortunately there's a little bit of unwanted diacetyl in the taste also, but nothing I can't handle. Below average on the carbonation and mild oily in the mouth. Probably won't buy it again, but still not a half bad surprise this. 25.07.2015

Clear copper color with a small tan head that soon vanish. Caramel malty dominated aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Moderate sweet and a moderate bitterness. Caramel malty, mild nutty, some fruity notes and herbal flavor. Very short finish. Not bad, but quite boring and anonymous. Easy drinkable beer. Sometimes that can also be ok.
