Olmoast black with a brown head - Dark malt aroma with some roasted notes - Dark malt body with some chocolate and roasted flaovurs with a nice balancing bitterness - Dark malt flaovurs with some roasted notes and chocoalte goes into the finish - This was good

On tap @ the brewpub as the 2016 version . It's definitely a dark one. Not directly black bit not too far off either. On the top there's a nice strongly lacing brownish head. It has a deep dark roasted chocolate nose, lots of coffee, lots of chocolate. A little bit of paper also, but it really smells nice this. The taste is even better. It has a good thick oily texture in the mouth and it's just below average on the prickling carbonation. A ton of bitter and strong chocolate in the taste. Coffee and dry cocoa powder. Lasts for quite some time this. By far the best tone I've had from Trondhjem Mikrobryggeri. 30.07.2016

100ml taster, draught at the brewpub. Creamy tan-coloured head to an opaque dark brown coloured body. Roasted malt-fruity nose. Rich blended taste of dark malts, dark berries, and dark fruits. Roasted bitterness to a prolonged ending. Full bodied. Enjoying tasty sipper (Trondheim 30.10.2014).

Appearance: A complete absence of light on the other side of this one. A nice beige head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Coffee, roasted malt and a bit fruity.
Palate: Full to medium body. Tad sweet with an ok bitterness. Soft carbonation. Creamy texture.
Taste: Espresso and chocolate. Roasted malt and some nice fruity notes.
Overall impression: Solid stuff! One of the best at this place so far.
