Bottled@AIH66 Beer Session (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, spicy and some mild floral notes. Flavour is fruity, some spices, quite evident alcohol as well as some sweet malts.

Bottled 330ml (Vm Kirkenes)
Hazy amber color, small steady off-white head. Malty, harsh grassy aroma. Medium-bodied. Malty, toffee sweetish, harsh grassy hoppyness. Typical Norwegian strong XMas beer. Drinkable but below par.

330ml bottle bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Close to clear amber body, decent off-white head with fine retention. Scattered lacing. Inviting aromas of brown malts and spices (cinnamon). Rather sweet caramel flavours with a touch of vanilla, supported by bread and earth, lightly spiced, and with an ending touch of dark fruits. Loses some of its flavour after a while in the glass. Soft in the mouth. Yuletide feel (Tromsø 12.12.2016).

Fra flaske på Maritim Ølsmaking ombord på Fridtjofen des-16 (i så hyggelig selskap at nesten alle ølene smakte riktig godt!): lett uklar kobbergylden med flott skum som varer. Malt, karameller, blomster, bær, urter og søte (havre)kjeks.

0.33l bottle. This one pours a pretty much clear deep caramel colored body with a tiny quickly fizzing away sidesticking off-white head. It really doesn't really smell any good this. Old almonds and nuts, toilet water, metallic undertones and hints of rye bread. Really not inviting at all. Well, it actually doesn't taste that bad. Mainly because it lacks flavors. Really blend. It's again quite nutty, at least in the aftertaste. Thin oily on the texture and it's about average on the carbonation level. Caramel and toffee before it fades in a watery finish. Dull in taste, horrible bad in aroma but all in all drinkable. 14.11.2015

KØLF 290116. Amber-orange colour with an off-white bead. Flavour is caramel, roasted malt, bread, spices, berries. bitter finish. Ordinary beer.

Brun farge med tynt hvitt skum som forsvinner raskt. Lukter av karamell, korn og litt krydder. Medium fylde og kjenner alkoholen godt i smak. kort bitteravslutning.

Flaske 330ml på Skarven 27 Feb 16. Servert i Lofotpils-glass! Amber. Høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. Lett krydret aroma. Smaken lett søt. Minner om julekaker & marsipan. Krydderet ligger under hele tida. En anelse mandler underveis. Fin julestemning. Lett tørr ettersmak. Uklar siste kvelling. Litt bunnfall igjen på flaska.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is kind of sour-ish grainy, weeds, wet grain, sour caramel, grass, dark sugar, almond essence, cereal. Taste is harsh boozy, weeds, metal tank, alcohol, caramel malts, dark sugar, almond essence, medicine, sour caramel. Medium bitterness, boozy and medical mouthfeel. Crap!
