KØLF 031014. Deep golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, hop. Flavour is fruit, malt, hop, yeast, grain. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

0.5l bottle. Looks really nice this. A cloudy deep almost glowing orange colored body with a big lingering and quite lacing off-white head. Mild nose. Light caramel malty really oxidized sweetness, some traces of ripe fruit, cardboard and perfumed honey. Nice enough actually. Easy to drink. Feels light oily in the mouth and it's almost creamy on the carbonation. More perfumed honey in the taste and it's definitely oxidized. A bit biscuity, malts and it has a slightly unpleasant metallic and peppery bitterness in the finish. Absolutely drinkable with food but not something I will be having again. 08.07.2014

Fin duft av citrus, honning og noe eik. Dunkel gulbrun farge. Tynn hinne skum, ring langs kant. Frisk syrlig smak med en anelse eik i ettersmak.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is grain, hay, weeds, caramel, nuts, dough. Taste is slightly sweet, grain, hay, paper, weeds, nuts, bark. Little bitterness, watery and slightly dry mouthfeel. Meh!

Bottle, as Maschmann’s Matmarked. It’s a hazy, golden-orange beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma has caramel, some pale malts, spent grains and resiny, grassy hops. It’s pleasantly carbonated, dry and medium to full-bodied. The flavor has some bready, light roasted malts, bitterness and some pine cones. Lasting finish. A pretty decent one, not very interesting, but flawless and kinda tasteful. 140619
