Hazy golden with a white head - Nice malt aroma with some fruity tones - Malt body that has some spicy yeast notes and a slight hint of sourness - Lingering malt finish with some sicy yeast and slight sourness - This was nice and interesting

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is mild floral, yeast, flowers, citrus, hay, weeds, citrus peel, leafs. Taste is harsh yeasty, weeds, soap, yeast, cardboard, almond essence, hay, grass. Longlasting bitterness, dry harsh mouthfeel. Meh!

On tap @ the brewpub. Cloudy orange body with a decent off-white head. Aroma has lots of fruit, particular oranges and some caramel malt with a feeling of rustic farmhouse yeast. Flavor is very refreshing citric fruity, especially oranges, some caramel malt, quite spicy and again an interesting feeling of rustic farmhouse elements. Good and well integrated bitterness. Fine body and good, long fruity aftertaste. This Saison is almost unbelievable fruity, almost like there is a bitter orange juice here. The yeast influence is strong, but I find it quite spicy and rustic. A bit odd, but definitively very moorish for my personal reference. Another splendid Saison from the brewpub.

On tap at the brewpub. A hazy one, golden-orange in color and with a finger thick off-white head. Some curtains. The aroma and flavor has a bit too much influence from the yeast, a kind of yeast I wouldn’t recommend using in future brews. It’s citrusy fruity, clementine peel and some canned peaches in the aroma, some peppery notes in the back. It’s dry and pleasantly carbonated, medium to full bodied. There’s a pleasant bitterness going on all the way, keeping the fruity flavors company. Lasting finish. Well, except for the yeast it’s a fine one, hope they choose another culture for their next saison. Rating: 6-4-6-4-13-3.3. 131214
Update: Having another glass a week later, the yeast aroma and flavor has been reduced to noticable, and the beer is a whole lot better. Have therefore lifted my score. 131221

Draught @ Christianssand Brygghus, Kristiansand Pours cloudy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, yeast, citrus and hint of white pepper. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long yeasty, fruity and slightly dry finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
