From cask @ Prince Edward. Blurry and really deep orange golden in the glass this one. The small bubbly cask head went away quite fast leaving only a thin filmy off-white isles in the glass. Sweetish and loaded with buttery toffee on the nose this. Buttery caramel all the way here. Dead cask flat on the bubbles and it has a decent gliding oily mouthfeel. To my surprise I'm actually liking he flavors. Yeah, it's buttery and really caramelly but it suited me just fine right about now. Ripe fruits and a little but of yeast also here. Vanilla extract and apple tart in he aftertaste. A fair halfpinter this! 09.11.2013

Cask at the Eel Pie, Twickers, 12/10/13. Clear golden with a thin off white head. Nose is toasted malts, citrus, bitter orange notes, grass. Taste comprises orange sherbet, citrus, light hop presence, a touch aspartamic. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, grassy bitterness in the finish. So so GB affair, I wasn’t too hopeful of much in the way of hops and I was proved right !
