On tap @ Amundsen. This is a light blurry bronze colored one with a small light lacing and islandy off-white top. It's definitely not extreme on the aroma. I get traces of fruity melon, some pepper and sweet caramel. A bit lower on the aroma that I had imagined, but it's nice enough. More stuff going on in the taste, but is the not a very complex barley this. About average on the and the mouthfeel is light sticky oily. Slightly wood-dry in the taste. I get ripe berries - the really ripe kind, sweet malts and something reminding a bit of a sweet white wine. It kinda grows on you after a while. A bit astringent in the finish, making my mouth go really dry. Only traces of yeast and alcohol in the aftertaste. Happy anniversary! 01.03.2013

On tap @ the brewpub. Hazy brown body with a small beige head. Aroma has caramel malt, dry fruit, brown sugar and some alcohol. Flavor is sweet and malt dominated, some dry fruit, ripe fruit, burnt sugar, spices and moderate bitterness. Fine body with a long aftertaste. It’s a nice barely wine, even if it’s a bit robust and alcoholic.

On tap at the brewpub, 250ml. Unclear amber, low off-white head leaving dotted spots to the glassware. Dried fruity smell. Sweet apricot mixed with biscuit malts offset by a heavy, dry bitter ending added by warming alcohol. Good, a bit heavy to drink (Oslo, 22.02.2013).
