Tulip at the Lakewood taproom - lightly hazy dark gold - clean, but decently balanced sweetness, with some juicy citric hoppiness showing - strong but not abrasive bitterness - a bit of alcohol warmth - perhaps a little thin-bodied - overall okay.

12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney, citrusy and resinous hops upfront, followed by caramel bready malt. Flavour is pleasantly aggressive, with citrus and piney hops, backed by just enough light bready caramel malt. Bright, citrusy and piney. Very nicely done.

12 oz bottle from Buy Rite. Unclear orange, thin head, light lace. Pine, citrus, a bit of caramel, some light booze. Okay mouthfeel. Decent overall.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a mostly clear orange hue with a large white head. A big marmalade and toast nose. Very soft round citrus and papaya, bitterness, apricots. A sort of hotness. Pine, more bitterness. Solid IIPA. A bit rough around the edges, some alcohol showing.
