750ml bottle thanks to Steve. Dishwater color pour with small fizzy head. Aroma is light strawberries with some funky tartness. Taste brings some barrel notes to the mix, light tartness too.

750ml bottle thanks to Steve. Pours out dirty golden with a fizzy ring of a head. Nose is big strawberries funky barrel sweet and tart. Taste is more of the nice sweet tart berries and some vanilla cream.

500 ml bottle from Tavour. Aroma is tons of strawberry and tannic oak. Taste is very tannic with notes of vinegar that kills off the strawberry. Acidic and extremely sharp. The bottle isn't marked with a date, so no telling how long Tavour had it.

I am looking for some kind of fruit sweetness to help balance it. No sweetness here, just sharp acidic and tannic oak. I still can't get into these overly sharp American Sour / Wild ales.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours orange with a white head. Aroma is vinegar, funk, and strawberries. Quite sour and slightly sweet. Lingering aftertaste. Not as much strawberry as one would like methinks. Still good.

Tap at RnH East. Slightly hazy orange-reddish color, tiny white head. Tartness, herbal notes and strawberry in the nose. Medium-bodied. Tart, almost lambic-like sourness. Lingering fruity tart aftertaste. Strawberry sweetness underlying. Nice.

Draft at Milk and Hops-Chelsea. Murky orange with an off white head. Tart, a little fruity, funky and dry. Good feel.

750mL bottle the morning after tasting. Cloudy dirty gold color. Aroma is strawberry and moderate acetic acid. Flavor a sour golden with light berry hints the acetic is restrained and I like the berry.

Bottle thanks to Matt. Pours a hazy orange gold with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strawberry seed, lacto, oak. Thin mouth, similar flavors to nose, light tartness, very good.
