On tap at Sehkraft pours a watery brown with some clumpy, white head. Nose is weird, wet/soggy bread, some paper bag, a little butter. Flavor has soggy bread, black tea, a little grist. Watery finish. Not well done, even if it isn’t what they are known for.

Draft at the brewery, 11/19/16. Dark amber pour, creamy head. Nutty and malty aroma. Bit of citrus. Really clean, malty flavor and great mouthfeel. Not usually a stlye that I find particularly compelling, but I thought this example was really good.

4oz draft pour at Rustico Alexandria. Poured a mostly clear Ruby brown color with a fizzy, head that looks like it was a cask beer. Aroma was mild sweet hard candies. Flavor was nutty, light sweetness comes through. Very easy to drink.

4 oz pour on nitro at Ocelot. Dark amber with off-white head. Aromas of biscuit and nutty notes. Tastes of nutty notes, biscuit, light floral, a little caramel and malt. Medium body with a dry finish. Solid if you’re into the style.
