16oz can from Bier Cellar. Cloudy golden, fast dissipating head. Bready aroma with light yeasty notes. Taste is lemony, malty. I would suggest this a wheat ale, as the usual weizen yeast and accompanying characteristic are missing.

Somewhere in Maine: pours pale hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is spicy with bananas and bubblegum. Taste is lightly sweet and spicy. Pretty smooth and easy to drink.

500 ml bottle from VFM in Ogunquit, 8/16/16. Murky golden pour with a fizzy, foamy head and some spotty lacework. Clove, wheat, and other spices. Grainy. Lemon notes. A bit sweet and wheaty, lots of clove, finishes spice forward and just a touch tart. Ligther bodied and easy drinking with a somewhat fizzy close. A decent, spice-forward example of the style.

Draft Great Lost Bear. Hazy gold with active carbonation. Good head retention. Nose is slightly sour banana and wheat. Flavor is no deviant from the aroma. Pale malt backbone with the wheat hitting the palate first and sour banana in the finish. A light tartness that is here. Did the brewer intend this sourness?

In general I love this style but this one doesn’t go over very well. The sourness isn’t what I what in a "German" wheat beer.

Perhaps the tap line was dirty??
