Huge amounts of wheat providing a nice grainy character marries well with bold citrus and peppery esters derived from our French yeast strain creating a very drinkable yet complex Saison. Responsible amounts of European hops are thrown in at the end of the boil to provide a nice grassy character with the slightest hint of lemon. Inspired by the Farmhouse ales of France and Belgium, our Farmhouse Wheat is a beer that can be enjoyed all day working in the yard, or hunkered down in your favorite pub.

Pint can - lightly hazy gold - lively carbonation kicks up a soapy head - nose of rustic grains, light honey, lemon rind, pepper, crusty bread - actually smells great -mouthfeel is a little less vibrant than I had hoped, and a bit thin/watery on the tail end - medium dry (just a touch of honey sweetness on the approach) - light pepper, mild bitterness, light buggy yeast character way in the back, light lemony citrus - finish is grainy, mildly rustic, lightly bitter - does not taste as good as the aroma promises, and the mouthfeel leave a bit to be desired, but still enjoyable.

Draught at The Office in San Carlos. This was so well rounded and complex. Aromas of spice and wheat, with a slight citrus hop aspect. Hazy honeycomb with moderate and retained white head. Flavor leans to the spice, with fresh meadow and dandelion.
