Draught @ the brewery. Opaque dark brown with a foamy chocolate-colored head, cocoa aroma, low carbonation, bitter dark chocolate-cocoa taste, alcohol overtones, thin body, long bitter finish with alcohol aftertaste. Boozy but satisfying.

Pitch black color. Blackberries, roasted malt and manure in the nose. Big roasted malt, dark chocolate, toffee mouth, a bit acidic. Medium full body. A touch sweet. Dark chocolate finish. Nice stuff, but overall average impy

22 oz bottle shared by Pinsky. Dark brown-black color. Brown head. Spotty, coating lace. Roast and a bit of burnt malt. Minimally sweet and fairly bitter/dry. Nice example of the style.
