Keg at Switchback, Burlington. Cloudy amber, small head. Fruity bready nose. Mid sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Crystal malt and bread, some hay. Mid bitter finish.

On tap at Switchback brewing. Pours out a hazy peach color topped with a white head. Nose is grain some earthy hops and a fruit note. Taste is more of the grain cereal malts earthy hops and a stone fruit note.

Poured from bottle thanks Willrunforbeer orange color with a nice white head. Aromas of clove bananna fruit malt. Taste is slightly sweet dry fruit floral grass and caramel malt.

Tap at Switchback Brewery, Burlington. Colour is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, dryness, some hops and malts. Can’t find this one special but drinkability is quite OK.

Aroma: The nose has grainy and bready malts, a little earth, some pale malt, and a bit of corn
Appearance: It pours an unclear amber color with a thin, beige head, and average lacing
Flavor: The flavors are similar to the aroma, some light sweetness and light bitterness
Palate: The feel is only okay in my opinion, average carbonation, and a lightly dry finish
Overall Impression: Fairly average beer for me. It's not memorable at all. Isn't close to the best out worst thing I've tried. Just very okay, average, and unremarkable.

Tap. Pours cloudy amber, medium beige head, nice lacing. Aroma is malty, bready, a bit of caramel. Flavor is light sweet, malty, a hint of citrus. Light bitterness comes through in the end and lingers. Medium body, a bit of acidity. Better than its ratings...

Pour is a clear muted amber with some drab olive tints and a fluffy white head that is mostly well-retained.
The nose is a very lovely balanced mix of fresh, floral hops (read: no pine whatsoever) and just a touch of citrus hoppiness thrown in for good mesaure (lemons and oranges). The leafy, fragrant hops combine well with a dry, but assertive maltiness of brown bread and lightly toasted grains. No crystal malt, thank god. Yeastiness is lightly apparent, contributing light cellar notes and moderate fruitiness that adds a welcome complexity and livliness to the beer. No alcohol, no flaws.
Flavor is wonderfully bitter but immaculately balanced as well. Brown bread-like maltiness provides just enough sweetness to balance the floral and lightly citric hoppiness. Touches of light dough, strong pepper (hops) and a zesty, tight carbonation all keep the beer interesting and flowing to the end, where a crisp finish leaves well-attenuated malts and plentiful hop bitterness. Floral hop flavors abound and the beer is supremely refreshing. Perhaps a touch more softness/depth of malt would make this even more comforting to drink but as is, I have few complaints. It’s refreshing to see a moderately hoppy beer these days that has neither tropical fruits or pine (or even a heavy citrus character). I don’t remember Switchback being particularly good back in the day; if I remember correctly they were very given to diacetyl and sloppy production of the beer. Seems those days are over? Whatever the case, this was excellent.

New England Bucket List Trip #251. Bomber from Winooski Beverage Warehouse. Pours a hazy orange with a thin fizzy off-white head. Poor head retention. Aroma of pale malt, mild toasted malt, earthy hops. The taste is toasted malt, caramel, floral and earthy hops. Medium bodied, drinkable.
