Location: Draft at the brewery, 1/17/15
Aroma: It has a resin aroma, with grass, a little bread, and some pale malts.
Appearance: Pours a clear orange color with a white head and medium-plus lace.
Flavor: It has a fairly bitter flavor, similar to the nose component-wise, with a light sweetness.
Palate: The body is medium, it is clean and easy drinking, with a decent dry finish.
Overall Impression: I actually quite enjoyed the concept of this one. It's basically an IPL, but with a more cleaver name. Considering their standard IPA wasn't all that exciting, this is a needed addition to the menu for hop heads.

Keg at Strangeways, 10/1/14. Pours a clear amber with a medium sized creamy offwhite head. Decent head retention. Aroma of pale malt, herbal, grassy, pine hops, mild citrus. The taste is bitter pine, resin hop, honey, pale malt, mild citrus. Medium bodied, strong lingering bitterness. Jackl is right, this is closer to DIPA than pilsner.
