The first beer we ever professionally brewed. This was once known as Pitchfork, and later took on this new identity. Stacks of dead remains of the field's floor provide a canvas for life, as this beer is driven by malt and yeast. This season's bouquet is provided by Riverbend Malt's Carolina-grown barley and wheat, old-world kilned malts and a splattering of noble hops. Let the fine favor of this farm warm you with mild aromas of fig, clove and raisin.

Location: Draft at Cucina 24, 12/31/14
Aroma: This one has a nice yeast aroma with some funky and sweet notes
Appearance: Pours an unclear orange-amber color with a beige head
Flavor: Tastes pretty similar, nice funkiness, spice, light sweetness, and a mild bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, there's a nice mouthfeel, and a lightly dry finish
Overall Impression: I was prefectly satisfied to find myself drinking this one. It has a nice flavor profile. The combination they were going for here was definitely successful.
