Taster at brewery. Hazy amber, thin lasting head, solid lacing. Malty aroma, overripe fruit. Taste is apricots, toffee, sweet and a pronounced bitterness at the back. Kind of all over the place.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear gold with a creamy off-white head. Some jammy citrus in the nose, bread, berries. Medium sweet flavor, a bit sticky, some white grape, berries, marmalade. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sugary finish, lightly medicinal, with some root beer, ripe berries. Meh, not very drinkable.

Found some old rating notes from TapNY 2013 that somehow never got entered. (I'm keeping this a little shorter than my normal rating style to help catch-up my backlog a little faster.)
This was an alright IPA. It has a mix of caramel malts, pine, and some other hoppy notes. It is a little light overall from a flavor component standpoint, but it isn't a bad beer.
