Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 8/13/14
Aroma: Aroma is straw, grassy German hops, bread, and some pale malts
Appearance: It pours a mostly clear golden color with a small white head and light lace
Flavor: The taste is clean and balanced, light sweetness, and a crisp, light bitterness
Palate: Light-medium bodied, easy drinking, with an average-plus carbonation, and a clean finish
Overall Impression: This is a pretty solid, easy drinking Pilsener. I found this to be a good drinking beer with a solid flavor and a good feel. I liked it.

.5l mug draft at the brewpub in Farmingdale, New York. Pour is a lightly hazed yellow golden, with a pure white one inch head. Pretty carbonation bubbles rise to the top of the glass throughout. Aroma is a faint, cracker toasted malt along with some light citrus. Taste is the clean cracker malt, along with a bright citrus that leads to a mild clove and grassiness. Classic german pils flavors, clean, nice integration. Palate is light bodied, un filtered mouth feel, with a dry mineral finish. Nice one.

Served in a tall mug at the brew pub. Color is muted golden, murkym cant see through the beer at all (something different for a pils). Small head turns into a thick lacing. Aroma is present - nice - lemony, hoppy, very brisk and effervescent. Taste is surprisingly full, has a cookie malt presence thats kicked off with a lemon zing. This is really the best damn Pilsner I have ever tried. Has a slightly acidic mouthfeel with a lemony aftertaste.

Quite a malty pilsner - lots of sweet, almost fruity characteristics - crisp hops come in late though, to remind you what you are drinking - those that have rated this low most have had an off batch.
