Crowler from brewery. Dark brown, small frothy beige head. Rich, roasty aroma, chocolaty notes. Taste is a creamy lush mouthfeel of lightly roasted malts and mildly bitter chocolate, light sweetness. Reaaly, really good, head and shoulders above their other beers that I've tried.

Quite a bold, bitter porter. Still crisp and smooth, medium bodied.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours black-brown with a dense, creamy beige head. Some dark malts in the nose, touches of ash and vanilla. Medium sweet flavor with dark fruits, raisins, creamy vanilla, faint coffee. Medium bodied, creamy, with fine carbonation. Finishes with soft ashy roast, burnt sugars, vanilla pods, cocoa. Not bad on the whole.

Location: Sampled at TapNY, 4/26/14
Aroma: The aroma is quite malty, with some chocolate, roast, and plenty of vanilla
Appearance: It pours a dark brown color with a light brown colored head and some lace
Flavor: The flavor is malty and fairly sweet, chocolate, vanilla, and a little roast
Palate: The mouthfeel is nice, it is rather creamy, smooth, soft and pretty easy drinking
Overall Impression: I have a memory of enjoying the 11/11 IPA last year, but I have no notes to rate from. This year; however, I know I both had and enjoyed this porter. They don't get a lot creamier than this one.
