Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 3/8/14
Aroma: The aroma is pale malts, biscuit/bready, and some light pine and grapefruit notes
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color with a small off-white head and a little lace
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, fairly malty, with a light sweetness and a light bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, and it has a clean, but a hint dull feel on the mouth
Overall Impression: I thought this was a decent, drinkable beer that just lacks something for me. It was probably my least favorite thing I tried from Huss, but the rest of the beers were very nice, so that isn't a major critique. Still, this is a solid beer.

A golden ipa with a thin off white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with smooth floral hops, resinous and smooth, light grapefruit, nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, pink grapefruit, very balanced. On tap at brewery.

Growler pours with a crystal clear deep gold body that has thin copper hues and supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up sweet mango, celery, clementine orange gummy bears and a modest degree of malt sweetness. The taste is smooth and pretty rich starting with a modest level of malty goodness that sets the stage for some tasty hoppiness. I get pleasing clementine oranges, mango, celery and then a thin layer of dank onion hoppiness. I am loving the hop flavor and bitterness going on here and how well it all fits together with harmony. This is rich snappy and creates a near dangerous sessionability.
