All aboard for a very dark and full bodied ale with its rich flavor coming from the caramel and dark roasted malts used to brew it. This traditional English ale exhibits coffee-like taste notes combined with definite hop bitterness and full malty flavor. Great with steaks, chops and ribs!

4 oz. sample at the brew pub. Aromas arenβt overly potent, weak roasted coffee, light roast. Palate is watery and lacking depth. Tastes like a generic porter. The flight of beers started decent but ended with a big fizzle.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 3/3/14
Aroma: The nose is roasted malts with a bit of coffee and chocolate
Appearance: It pours a brown color with fairly thick light brown head on it
Flavor: The taste is much the same, pretty much just a roasted malt flavor profile
Palate: The body is medium, it has a somewhat thin feel, a soft carbonation, a dry, roasty finish
Overall Impression: Again, this was another Oak Creek beer that was just fun but nothing exciting. It has a solid roasted malt flavor. No major flaws or anything to call out. Just another decent beer.

On tap at the brewpub. A clear dark reddish brown beer with a dense, beige head that lasts. Roasted aroma with coffee, some charcoal and dark chocolate. Medium body, really smooth on the palate. Dark chocolate, coffee and roasted malts in the flavor. Some bitterness towards the roasted finish. Thin on the palate, else itβs a very fine porter. 130818

Tap at the brewpub and probablybthe best u get as part of seven dwarves sampler. Pours black with nice head. Nose of cocoa and soda. Tastes of chocolate, coffee, cola, earth, malt, resin, and vanilla. Itβs a touch thin but well carbonated and quite drinkable.

draft at Oak Creek Pub and Grill - Pours black with a fluffy, light tan head that laces heavily. The aroma is mild dark roast malt. It has nice roast malt and chocolate flavors. There’s a medium to full body and a pleasantly bitter finish.
