750ml caged and corked bottle pours with a nearly clear copper body that has thin golden edges and supports a nice looking light tan head. The aroma offers up malt sweetened floral hops with thin slivers of pine, citrus and pineapple like hops in the background. The taste starts with a smooth mixture of malts, a dash of toffee, grapefruit, mango, pineapple and then pine and floral hops. Nice. This is both juicy and bitter with hoppy goodness held together with a thick malty base. Nice stuff.

Bottle. Pours a clear deep amber orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has some bitter pine and resin with a good amount of sweet grain backing. Flavor starts with sweet grains but finishes with very bitter pine and resin.

Location: 750 ml bottle from Central Market, 2/26/14
Aroma: The aroma is caramel/toffee, some bready malts, grass, a little grapefruit, and pine
Appearance: It pours a dark caramel-orange color with a small off-white head
Flavor: The taste is lightly sweet, with a clean light-medium bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a smooth feel, soft carbonation, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this one was decent but not outstanding. It is balanced for sure, but maybe lacks a little bitterness it could have used. It gets close, but it isn't there.

Bottle @ Greg’s palace. Picked up at Wilbur’s. Pours a hazy, deep reddish orange appearance with a disappearing tan head. Caramel, toasty malty, grapefruity, tea, herbal hoppy aroma. A bit goopy, slightly burnt malty, caramel, light toffee, orange, grapefruity citrusy, bubblegum flavor. Blah.
