Location: Draft at the Brewpub, Princeton, 11/17/13, as Small World C&C Stout (listed at 5.7%)
Aroma: The nose is full of dark coffee along with some roasted and burnt malts
Appearance: It pours a dark brown color with a smooth and creamy brown head and heavy lace
Flavor: The flavor is heavy coffee, not particularly sweet, but quite roasty and a little burnt
Palate: This one is very smooth and creamy on the mouth with a pretty much flat carbonation
Overall Impression: I thought this was a pretty solid beer. It has a really nice, smooth, almost cask like feel to it, but it is served very (probably too) cold. Nice beer for fans of coffee fronted stouts, and very drinkable at around 5%.

11th October 2008. GABF. Smooth palate. Toasted malt. A little bit of cream but not much. A little porterish. More cream please!

On draught at the Princeton location: Pours flat black with a medium thick tan head that has good retention. Patchy lacing. Aroma of coffee with roasted malt and hops. Full-bodied with a robust coffee character. Flavors of sweet chocolate and roasted malt along with a fair amount of bitter hops. The finish is creamy and smooth with a tasty coffee flavor and aftertaste. Overall this is a solid coffee Stout.

on tap-pours a creamy tan head that laces with black color. Aroma is coffee, dark malt. Taste is a regular coffee (one cream & one sugar), with mild carbonation, chewy. Not my taste.

[At GABF 2004] A red-brown beer with a disappearing orange head. The aroma contains loads of coffee and chocolate - nice. The flavor is sweet with chocolate being the most dominant - the coffee lingers far in the background, but the mouthfeel is flat.
