Location: Sampled at Tap NY, 4/27/13
Aroma: The nose is fairly dull, and on the malty, with some nutty and caramel notes
Appearance: It pours a brown color with a red hue and a beige head
Flavor: The taste is much the same, dull and malty, not bad, but just not exciting
Palate: The body is medium, it has an okay mouthfeel, and a soft carbonation
Overall Impression: This one wasn't all that exciting. It wasn't a terrible beer, but it didn't do all that much for me either. It was fine, but it was not a favorite of mine from the festival.

A reddish copper ale with a thin moka head. In aroma, a nutty malt with light green pepper notes, meat extract, bizarre. In mouth, a watery nutty malt, no hops, bland. On tap at ROC Empire Brewfest, Feb. 19 2011.
