Can from the brewery. Pours a darker amber with a sheet of persistent tan head. Chocolatey malt with some pretty heavy bittering hops layer overtop. That bitter lingering pretty hard. Balance is well off on this, the hops just a bitterness hammer. Reading other reviews makes me wonder what happened here. This is a Nope.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 7/6/13

Aroma: The nose is simple and on-style, some caramel malts and some grassy hops
Appearance: It has a clear amber-orange pour with a smallish head on it
Flavor: The taste is light sweet and fairly light bitter as well, it is balanced and unexciting
Palate: The body is light-medium and it has a decent mouthfeel to it
Overall Impression: This was a fairly standard brewpub IPA. It isn't a knock out and it isn't a bad IPA either. Honestly, it is hardly memorable.
