Intensely hoppy India Pale Ale with toasted malt backbone to back up a citrusy/spicy finish from aggressive hopping with a blend of hops from the Pacific northwest.

Location: Draft at Max Lagers, 4/17/13
Aroma: It has a clean citrus hop nose, with some pale malts and some spice as well
Appearance: It pours a hazed orange color, with a small white head, and minimal lace
Flavor: The flavor is medium-plus bitter early, with a clean malt backbone, and a bitter finish
Palate: The body is medium, it has a fairly average carbonation, a good feel, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: Very solid IPA. Clearly the only conclusion I can draw it that either I got the short end of the stick last time, or the beers have drastically improved.

Cask at the Atlanta Cask Ale Fest. Pours a clear golden orange with a bubbly white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has some bitter citrus with a touch of grapefruit, resin and a sweet grain backing. Flavor is more resinous with a bit of grapefruit and a touch of onion towards the finish.
