Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear gold with a creamy off-white head. The nose has subtle pine and perfume. Medium sweet flavor with touches of metal, leaves, toasted pine and cracker. Light to medium bodies with fine to average carbonation. Finishes somewhat sweet with a bit more pine, toasty grains, bread. OK.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Half Time, 11/9/12
Aroma: It has sweet caramel malts, a little spice, along with some herbal and earthy hops
Appearance: It pours a dark orange-amber with a small beige head and light lace
Flavor: The taste is just a little bit sweet with a balancing herbal hop bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it is overly fizzy on the mouth, but otherwise it has a decent feel
Overall Impression: Not a bad beer at all. The nose was actually pretty interesting, and the taste was solid as well. The fizziness definitely hurts the drinkability, but it is still a solid one overall.

Bomber from Half Time. Pours very ruddy copper with a fizzy beige head. Aroma is mixed herb and caramel. Has an interesting tang. Med body more or less. Definitely caramel, perhaps a bit of diacetyl. Hop bitter seems herb more than grass. After a bit it seems a bit floral and spicy with grassy bitter. This is not a typical blah amber. It has some interesting character. You should try it once at least.
