Pours deep gold into a shaker. White head with excellent retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Caramel and pine aromas. Thick with pine and resin upfront turning to sourdough in the hot caramel finish.

Aroma: The nose is fairly sweet: orange, citrus, and tropical fruits mostly, with spice and pine notes
Appearance: It pours a cloudy orange color with a small white head and light-medium lace
Flavor: The taste has some sweetness, but it is not as sweet as the nose would suggest, the citrus and tropical fruits are a little less prevalent in the flavor, there's a little more spice, a bit of booze, and a medium bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it is a little sticky, with a lively carbonation, a little heat, and a little dryness
Overall Impression: Overall, this is a pretty nice beer for sure, but it is not a top-of-style IIPA. It is plenty drinkable though, and certainly worth trying. Solid stuff.

My wife brought this one back from a trip to Rochester. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy dark amber with a small off white head that left good lacing. The aroma was tangy pine, resin, grapefruit and lemon lemon with undertones of butter, bread and biscuit. The finish was medium length pine, butter and biscuit. Moderately full bodied. Ok.

Bomber from Half Time. Pours hazy light amber with a decent creamy near-white head. Aroma is very perfumy to my snoz. Med body. Damn but it is floral. With of course a decent mildly roasted caramel backbone. But it is incredibly floral. So it’s not exactly bitter, and that caramel sweet is detectable, but it’s certainly hopped all to heck. It’s suggestive of a rose petal, but that’s probably not what the floral is. There’s a lot going on in this, and I think it gets a little citric/resin as my tastebuds and nose get used to the floral. Amazing. I think I’ve never had anything so floral at the start.

Hazy amber color; medium sized head, compact. The aroma is still very nice, fruity; then comes a strong, mellow aroma of brewing cereals; unexpected, but pleasant. Good body strength, caramel flavor, lightly soapy; strong bitterness, still some hop resins, but no fruits. Strong and long final. Solid brew.
Unfortunately, another bottle that I maybe spoiled, keeping it too long (since Oct ’09 till July ’10), waiting to share it...

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a virtually non-existant head. Aroma of sweet honey, curacao, wheat, yeast, malt and some light hops. Medium to Full-bodied; Sweet malty taste complete with apples and oranges noticeable, along with a good spicey yeastiness that lasts. Aftertase stays on the palate perfectly - good tastes throughout. Overall, a nice seasonal beer that shows very well for the sytle. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased at Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 22 December 2006.

@ Brazen Head on cask-pours a tan head that bubbles and hazy gold color. Aroma is grapefruit/lemon. Taste is grapefruit/lemon/pine hops, secondary medium malt, slightly thick mouthfeel, some woody. OK/mild carbonation.

Small white head. Orangey body. Tropical fruit, citrus, and malts aroma with a sharpish herbal background. Dry, sharpish herbal citric taste, very clean. Quite edgy. Dry herbal grainy aftertaste. Very nice! (0.66l bottle at glouglouburp’s.)

Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with a lovely hoppy and grassy notes which also includes notes of grapefruit. The flavor is sweet malty eith notes of grapefruit and grass, leading to a dry and very bitter end.

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of Kramer 17801. Clear, pale amber golden with a nice, off-white head. Fresh aroma of citrus and pine. Quite full-bodied with sweetish malt which is completely overpowered by the piney aroma hops also leaving a solid bitterness. 290407
