Taking inspiration from a German mulled wine served around the holidays (it's pronounced gloo-wine, by the way), we started with our Napa Cab barrel-aged Black Tuesday and added warming spices and citrus to bring all the good cheer. Prost!

A very interesting variation, with plenty of subtle flavours that cut through the killer base very well. Anide is subtle, just as almond, but the clove is done nicely. Oranges, yes. Not sure it completely works. But definitely going where they want to.

German chocolate cake. Best way to describe this one. Dark chocolate, syrup. Looks a little hazier and brown than normal BT. Smells like wild grapes and earthy bark. /mulch. Has a little bit of Madeira and mulled cider thrown in but a lot of chocolate.
