Pyment made from chardonnay grapes and orange blossom honey, aged for 2 years in medium char French oak casks. The chardonnay notes are bright, light and fruity, with the ever so light honey notes in the background.

Enjoy this with some 5 year aged Gouda.

Discounted bottle from Max's Taphouse for like $9. No clue how old this is. Mojito glass @home. Opaque, still, honey gold pour. Unfermented honey, lemon, tons of sour tropical fruit, obvious French oak, plastic, caramel. Tannic, twangy, sweet char, sharp citrus everywhere, bubblegum, caramel & warm booze finish. Slight coffee oxidation. Belly warming. Slick, acidic, warming, obviously oxidized. Still pretty good.

Bottle from the source. Brilliantly clear light golden color with a bit of legs when swirled. Vinous oaky with a hint of vanilla and citrusy honey. Just a bit too dry and wine like for my tastes, but well crafted.
