Pours murky dark gold into a teku. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Tangerine and passion fruit aromas. Sweet with bubblegum and banana upfront turning to earthy hot banana flambe and bitter apple in the dry, medium length finish.

Brewery draught, 11/8/24. Heavily hazy, paler lime-bronze-golden. Small, creamy, white head. Nose is elegant, deep spice, reserved, yet aromatic tropical fruits and no punch or weird yeast. Biscuit and honey from the malt balance gently. In the mouth there's a touch of mineral and chalk before spice develops slowly but very flavorfully. Tropical, yet soft, rounded and also appropriately balanced with deep, succulent, biscuity malts and good attenuation. I can't believe I'm giving a beer from this brewery a 4.0, but here we are. I guess, when fresh, they really came on to something with this recipe. Hell, I may even be under-rating this...

Pours a very thick orange, opaque, thick white head. Aroma of orange, heavy papaya. Taste has heavy hop oils, pine oil, lingering fruity notes. Palate has lingering resin on the nose, some orange. Good.

16 ounce can from Grant. Very cloudy orange. Smells like bitter grapefruit juice. ...I think this is quite old so I’m going to rate on a scale. Very juicy. Like grapefruit juice throughout. Bitter acidic finish.

Keg taster pour at NH Brewfest. Appearance is light brown/yellow with no sparkle, thin ring of off-white head. Aroma is light fruit, grapefruit, citrus. Taste is strong citrus along with milder tropical fruit and grapefruit and malt balance. Palate is light side of light-to-medium bodied with frothy, thin texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, decent complexity and strength. One of the stronger offerings from this brewer.
