16 oz. can. Sticker on top of 4 pack reads 12/21/16. Purchased at Spruce Creek. Hazy amber in color, correct level of carbonation. Aroma is floral and mild pine with a hefty amount of caramel.
The base of the beer is caramel malts. Thankfully it doesn’t get to sweet. The floral and pine notes are nice with a mild level of bitterness. Maybe hints of grass. 7 or 8 years ago this would have been top tier. Right now it just will get lost in the shuffle of so many other IPA’s being brewed in New England. Good, no flaws, still very drinkable when fresh.
