The first beer ever produced at Eastern Shore Brewing, and still a crowd pleaser. This American Red Ale features the pleasant combination of crystal and Vienna malts to provide a beer that has depth of flavor yet remains delicate enough to enjoy regularly. Paired with American hops that provide a pleasant floral and piney aroma this beer alludes to flavors found in other styles yet retains the drinkability that made it so popular to begin with.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 5/17/12
Aroma: The nose is malts, caramel, and some (unintentional?) sourness
Appearance: It pours an unclear orange color with a small white head
Flavor: The taste is light sweet, light-mid sour, and light bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, with lively carbonation, and a pretty decent mouthfeel to it
Overall Impression: Look at that, rater # 9. This one is still in single digits. I guess they don't have much distribution. I can't decide if this was a decent sour or a completely unintentional one, but I am leaning strongly toward unintentional, so my rating is based on that...
Still, it kind of works as an unintentional sour...
