Location: Draft at the Little Rock Brewpub, 2/16/12
Aroma: The nose is on the roasty side, some nutty notes, and some citrusy hops are present too
Appearance: It pours a dark brown color with a medium sized light brown head and some medium lace
Flavor: It has a roasty malt flavor as well, the hops are more subtle, but are clearly present in the flavor
Palate: Medium bodied, it is smoothish, with a slightly smokey character, and it also has dry roasty finish
Overall Impression: This is an interesting porter with a little hoppiness to it. The hoppiness isn't there to make it a Black IPA.

On tap at Bosco’s Memphis. Oily beige head on top of a thick brown black body. Oily bitter chocolate flavor. Sort of odd, weird variation of a Porter or Black IPA. Has sort of an extract feel. Kind of a mess..drinkable but not so impressively executed.
