On tap. A clear golden-orange beer with a small white head. Citrusy, pine and orangey aroma with a touch of pale malts. There’s a soft bitterness in the mouth, it’s medium bodied and quite dry, with a pleasant carbonation level. Orange zest, pine cones and some pale malts in the finish, lasting for a good while. Refreshing and tasteful. 150618

Bottle in Salisbury. Pours lightly unclear gold with a frothy, off-white head. The aroma holds some biscuity pale malts, slight grain, tangerine, generic citrus rind. Light-medium sweet flavor with dried citrus character, some pine needles, dried grains. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty well balanced to finish, some further dry and lightly rindy citrus, pale bread, low sweetness. Simple but effective APA.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a yellow-gold color with a large fluffy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was grassy, perfumy and had a bit of cactus. The flavor was bitter and tangy perfume, grass and lemon. Long finish. Medium body. Meh.

Looks good poured from the bottle, slightly hazy. Fairly clean fresh candy aroma. Interesting name, implies low alky but I think I feel a little warming feeling in the gullet. Seemed to be somewhat sharp at first but I think its dulling as the session continues. Finish is medium apa.

I like this. A tasty ale without the hop bitterness of an IPA. Just enough hoppiness to enjoy and refrwsh. Nice grassy aroma...me likey!

This brew pours a clear and bright yellow-gold color with a medium white head that burns away steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Hops and malt in the nose. Light body with flavors of mild hops, citrus and sweet malt. The finish is crisp and lightly hopped with a grapefruit aftertaste. Decent light APA overall.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 11/21/11

Aroma: The nose is a bit hoppy, with some fruity and floral notes to it
Appearance: This one pours a clear golden-orange color with a small white head
Flavor: The taste is medium sweet, and light-medium bitter, with a lingering sweetness
Palate: The body is rather light, it has a crisp and drinkable feel, and a fairly fizzy carbonation
Overall Impression: I can see why they would call this a lawnmower beer. I could certainly picture drinking this one outdoors on a summer afternoon. It would probably make for a tailgate beer too (I guess they should can it!)
