on tap–pours hazy amber with a tight offwhite head and heavy lacing. Aroma is soft medium malt-roasty, some spice. Taste is honey, medium malt-roasty, some spice hops. Don’t know if this is a different beer than when bottled, but something changes based on previous bottled ratings and what I was enjoying.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of gn0sis. Pours a clear deep golden with a small off-white head. The nose has a little caramels and phenols. Fairly light body, high carbonation, caramel and a yeasty, chemical tang. Ends dry and slightly metallic. No real pleasure I’m afraid. 150311

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark amber color with a large foamy yellow-white head that lingered. The aroma was dry, tangy, a touch spicy and faintly skunky. The flavor was dry, spicy and tangy with a touch of yeast and a bitter dry finish. Basic and boring.

Location: Draft at Hop Devil, 5/3/10

Aroma: The nose has some rye, honey, some sweetness, and grains/malts
Appearance: This one is mostly clear with an amber-orange color to it
Flavor: The taste is dull sweetness, bready/malty, and a touch of honey
Palate: The body is light-medium, average carbonation, and relatively short duration
Overall Impression: Overall I wasn't really impressed with this one. The flavor is a bit dull in addition to feeling just a little bit off. It certainly isn't terrible, and I drank the whole glass, but I certainly wouldn't rush out to order it again.
