750 ml purchased at Redstone Liquors, Stomeham, MA. Amber in color with thin head. Aroma is a ton of spice, herbs and off burnt caramel.

The flavor has harsh herbal astringent finish. To much herbs and spice, dear Lord that is harsh. Not sure what the hell the brewer was going for here. For their sake I hope they don’t brew this ever again. Not easy to drink, I choked down about 5 oz and poured out the rest.

Thanks Chris. Looks dark orange and reddish brown. Aroma is piney with some strange grape and wood. So many weird spices in this beer. Oak, cedar, weirdness. Leaves a lot of spice left over.

Tap at Alewife. Bizarre beer. Pours reddish Amber with nose is seasoning and light citrus. Tastes of all spice, nutmeg, orange peel, toffee, medicinal, plum, and cough medicine. Still pleasant but all over the place.

Bottle. Amber body with off-white head. Aroma of medicine, dust, toasted grain, spice. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter with lingering bitterness in the finish. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Tastes of all-spice, cinnamon, cardamon, herbs. Like drinking bitter medicine with a hint of nail polish remover.

Pours deep mahogany into a Trappist glass. Tan head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing to coat surface. Sour vegetable aromas. Bitter, earthy candy corns and earth upfront turning to licorice before the lasting birch bark finish. This one is really not that good...
