22 oz bottle purchased at Craft Beer Cellar, thanks to me. Dark brown color, maybe ruby color, lasting head that shows a ton of bubbles. Aroma is dirty malt, some floral hops. Not much wine barrel in the aroma.
This was aged into a wine barrel? Really? I don’t get it anyplace. Dark caramel malts, floral hops that then transitions into a pine like hop. Bitterness is rather lasting, again pine. Some odd herb note that isn’t easy to define. Medium mouthfeel. Pretty big disappointment. This was shared at Adrien’s going away... Adam called me Cleedog... Ha ha ha

Poured from bottle thanks Airforcehops. Color is murky red with a tan head. Aromas of roasted caramel malt and sweetness. Taste is malty with hints of alcohol and as it does warm is akin to barleywine.

Thanks Cleedog. Dark hazy brown. Aroma is sweet, a bit old, grape like and some jam. some toffee and caramel. Yeah, this is a sweet beer but the malts are just not well balanced. not a great beer. no barrel, salad, herbs, maybe some sort of sweet pastry but IDK. just not great.
