Bottle from Lonestar Beverage outside of Dallas. Pint glass @home. Dark tea, brown & still. Sharp, earthy, dark cherry, too sugary. Serious unfermented honey, cloying, syrupy cherry, medicinal, heavy. Just too rich without any contrast.

Bottle sample at Moonlight Meadery, pours a clear pinkish ruby. Aroma brings out lightly tart cherries, lots of orange blossom and a touch of dry honey. Flavour reveals lots of bone dry wildflower honey upfront, with dry cherries and orange blossoms. Floral and dry. Good stuff.

A darker reddish orange appearance. Kriek and bark aroma. Very good cherry taste, it’s thinner than I expected and maybe more like tree bark / mulch but the taste is unique
