Sample at the brewery taproom. Hazy bronze color with a medium off-white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of wheat, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of floral wheat, fruit, malt and a touch of hops. The finish is citrus and peppery wheat. Decent overall.

This is not a hefeweizen and after sipping and smelling will proceed to review this as an American Pale wheat ale.
This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a golden to bronze color with a light transparency about it. Carbonation was super light but could be seen rising at a moderate pace. A semi-thin coat of white foamy head graced the sides of the glass.
The smell started off with a subtle sweet citrus delicately arranging itself of some light tropical fruits. Subtle pine graces the underneath.
The taste had a moderately bitter piney-ness with a light sweet citrus running into some wheat in its base. There’s a quick semi-dry aftertaste running into a dry semi-sweet citrusy finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly light on my tongue. It stays mostly dry in the feel.
Overall, I liked this one for me, slightly reminiscent of Boulevard’s 80 acre hoppy wheat. Honestly, I probably wouldn’t be able to do a blind taste test and distinguish between the two. I’d have this again.

Tap at Kickbacks for RBWG. Pours a cloudy orange with thick white head that lasts awhile. Fruit and yeast aroma. Thin mouthfeel with light wheat flavor and subtle fruit, decent.

375ML @ Beverage King. Paid $5.99. Pour is slightly cloudy 2 finger head. Nose is sour lemon, lots of wheat. Taste sort of falls short. yeasty, some bitter english hops, crisp orange peel finish. wish it was less yeasty.

375 ml bottle purchased at Yankees Spirits Attleboro, MA. Bottled 7/30/2014, well at least I knew it was old when I bought it. Bright gold in color with some spotty lace covering the snifter. The aroma has light citrus hops, moderate yeast and some pale malt.

Flavor shows me that the hops are indeed dead because all I get light, mild yeast, white baked bread and light clove spice in the finish. Standard body the the normal amount of carbonation giving a dry texture over the tongue. This beers best days are behind it but with that said, no real issues with it.

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Sweet banana and clove aromas. Soft wheat and sourdough upfront turning to tropical fruit in the medium length finish.
