Bottle sample at Artesano, pours a clear blonde with a few bubbles. Flavour brings out the wildflower honey upfront, with floral notes. Flavour is fairly rich, with moderately sweet wildflower honey. Medium-high sweetness on the finish. Nice stuff.

Draught - Very faint yellow. Clear. Looks still. Smells very sweet. Lots of ginger and lemon peel. Nice taste. Almost flat for a sparkling. Lots of herbal noted. Ginger is prominent. Sweet throughout.

A blonde mead with a rather interesting wild grass honey and wood chips...someone next to me said it reminded them of port-o-potty wood shavings. In mouth, a light sweet honey with clovers, mint wild funk, nice. Tasted a Shelburne Vineyards, April 7 2012.

Sampled from the bottle at the shop. Poured a clear pale gold with no head whatsoever. Aroma was sweet with honey with a bit of a fruit backing and a hint of flora. Flavor brought out more than just honey with a bit of fruit and flora for some complexity. Nice and smooth.
